‘Parsiana’, an Iconic Parsi Magazine, Falls Silent

Parsiana, the iconic magazine of the Parsis in India, has shut shop. 

The demise of a niche magazine that was loved by its readers for well over 60 years certainly calls for a look into its history and why it folded. The notion that “print media is dead” was first talked about sometime in the early 1980s. While newspapers have been shutting down ever since, magazines, on the other hand, have thrived.
